Playing the FM Towns ports of #MonkeyIsland 1 & 2 and #IndianaJones and the #FateOfAtlantis in @aaronsgiles's DREAMM emulator, I noticed the Save/Load GUI is clunkier than the original PC versions in a couple of ways.
If you scroll down the savegame list to load a game, the next time the GUI comes up, it won't remember where you were like on PC, but always starts from the top.
And once you select a game to load, it doesn't load immediately; you have to hit the "OK" button first as well.

@Gamrok @grumpygamer @DavidBFox I notice the icons for #MonkeyIsland 2 and #IndianaJones and the #FateOfAtlantis are extremely simple compared to the rest.
Perhaps not coincidentally, those were #LucasArts' last Amiga ports, and the ones where the Amiga versions are extremely subpar in technical terms compared to the PC originals! #adventuregames

@MutantFuturist @aaronsgiles Previews of #FateOfAtlantis actually said a separate EGA release would follow the VGA version - presumably at 320x200 resolution with custom downgraded graphics, like #Sierra's EGA downgrades of early VGA SCI games!
However, advances in graphics drivers before their release meant MI2 and FOA could do EGA conversion on the fly, and Sierra eventually switched to doing this as well. #lucasarts #adventuregames
