Stanley did his duty again during the El Nino season of 1997-1998, helping my father sweep away overflowing drains. Yesterday, Stanley the Broom did his duty once more, sweeping away a flooding carport during #hurricanehilary. Some people inherit money or homes. I inherited Stanley the Broom. In the scheme of things, a priceless heirloom.
