I get a bit frustrated sometimes when really smart people say they don't use microservices simply because their applications "...don't need that kind of scalability.". While that is probably true, there are MANY other reasons microservices might be appropriate. Reliability & fault-tolerance as well as developer satisfaction spring to mind.
