My #FavoriteWord in #Greek is ζέστη. I love how it’s pronounced (like “zesty”) and also how its meaning is once removed from its English homophone.
ζέστη means “hot” as in temperature (κάνει ζέστη = it’s hot out), whereas zesty can mean “hot” as in spicy.

It's not correct to describe it as onomatopoeic but I feel it's something along those lines, like it means what it sounds like: stunning, breathtaking.
