This is Mayburgh Henge in Cumbria. It is thought to have had four standing stones in the middle, but only one remains. These photos were taken in 2014 on my first visit, and I've been back many times. It's one of my favourite places. When you go inside, the banks of the henge hide almost everything else from view, leaving just you, the stone and the sky. #StandingStoneSunday #MayburghHenge #FavouritePlaces
