Not everyone joined #mastodon before this was circulating, so I’m sharing it again. Mastodon’s algorithms are different than #Twitter so it’s especially important that you use #hashtags in your posts for reach. Also, simply #favouriting someone’s post won’t increase its reach; you need to #Boost it, so don’t be afraid to 🙂

#boosting is better

It's a bit awkward when you try to #click on some post on #Mastodon and the #timeline suddenly #scrolls and you end up inadvertently #boosting or #favouriting something else.
