NeoFinder 8.4 catalogs embedded XML data written by several #ARRI camera types and software versions.

These can contain helpful textual stuff, like the scene, take, reel name, or the name of the cintematographer. NeoFinder will show an overview of that data in the Comment EXIF field for you, and of course search this as well.

So, erstes Projekt fertig geschnitten auf dem iPad Pro mit Final Cut Pro. Denke, dass ich doppelt so lange benötigt habe wir auf dem Mac. In meinen am Augen nicht so komfortabel und umständlicher, aber das mag sich noch zurechtruckeln.

Built in Color Conform in the new version of #FCPX is exactly what I needed.

I shoot a mix of Panasonic 4k, iPhone, GoPro and my photographer's DSLR for my large event projects and this is so much smoother on these interview edits today.

Playing around with Final Cut Pro for iPad. It’s impressive what can be done, but idk. The big problem I have with these mobile versions is they’re not compatible back and forth. If I could do heavy lifting on my computer and then do light adjustments on my iPad, that would really be something. But this is more like a fancier iMovie.

I have the feeling that having "computer knowledge" has becoming super exotic again, like in the 90s and before. And I have the feeling that this hurts the reputation of more and more pro software applications that were designed to be used only by pros and then got into the mainstream because of ... capitalism.

I see this in support forums, many people really don't get software, the use case and where problems derive from. Then they blame the application.
I notice this, especially when anything GPU compute is involved, that people have problems which are mostly come from user error which are based on some very true fundamentals no one seems to know any more. Like there is a limit on GPU memory or that there is also a cache which sometimes needs to get purged. Then people are religious that their Macs work different and this PC stuff doesn't apply to their beloved tool. This is also fuelled by all these review idiots on YT telling your M1 can do everything has unlimited resources and when slowing down you won't notice, and it works totally different with resources - this is somehow glued to the brains.
People really don't get GPU stuff that there are limits and that 12122212 browser tabs have an impact on performance.
