Personally I do want to try if I can build something like #Floppinux but more practical.
Kinda like a "What if you want/need to work on a #FDD-only booting system and only have a single FDD to get some "Terminal" up and running...

IMO it failed only due to crappy firmware. Without special software on PC end there was no way of easy data exchange.
That's sad because over that project I learned how easy it, fast and cheap it could be to use standard PC floppy drive for any one-file programs.
These days you can have super fast Tapecart for loading PRG files and/or SD2IEC for something more.

It finally supports standard FAT12 DD floppy format and standard PRG files with load address in the first two bytes of the file.
Soon there will be a DOS wedge and standard CBM directory listing. I will consider project complete once custom DraBrowser/DraCopy will support that interface for easy data exchange.

I’m accredited in #agile, #lean, and #FDD, but I’ve never run pure applications on my teams. Always adaptations and tweaks. In fact, I’ve seen more teams struggle when trying to stick to the “book”.
