I started playing #FireEmblemWarriors Three Hopes in the hope that it wasn't good and that I could move on to, I don't know, Sea of Stars or something. I was wrong. As in every game I start playing, I don't know what I'm doing, but I had fun! Seeing my favorite characters bantering and doing weird stuff and Alois honing his #dadjokes skills. Can't ask for more. Just better graphics, bc it was a downgrade from #FE3H. I'm more in it for the alternate story, but the combat is super satisfying.

I went back to the boss with the hopes of marrying someone else who made more sense lorewise. I turned the difficulty down to normal and beat it in 10 minutes. There's an enormous difference between normal and hard. I wonder how the maddening mode is 😅 The dancer class is also really cool. I tried it for the 1st time on this playthrough with Yuri (DLC character). I played as a dark flier (DLC class), and it helped me in many situations. #FE3H #Gaming #Videogames #FireEmblem

Btw, Edelgard is defeated. The ending was a little bit anticlimactic, but I must confess that maybe the Blue Lions route wasn't my favorite. I like the way I did things. Church route first to get the hang of things, Black Eagles next to see the other side and a fantastic Edelgard, Golden Deer to get a deeper understanding of lore and face the best last boss, and Blue Lions to end things. #FE3H #Gaming #Videogames #NintendoSwitch

Edelgard makes sense, but only in some routes. Map with 52 units vs. 12, barely leveled up to do this, playing on hard, while she - who defends people living by their own merits without crests - used her privilege and power of those who slither in the dark to turn into a beast (badass at that), with an attack range that covers the ENTIRE MAP. DLC paralogues on hard mode can get pretty intense 😬 It's to acquire the Relics of our new characters. The most difficult one I did was to get Balthus's Relic Vajra-Mushti. The unit placement was scattered on the map, and my only healer, Mercedes, was placed near 2 enemies and isolated. The enemy AI did track mostly the only units who could not die. It was a great fight! By the end, I was a little nervous and couldn't decide the best attack, but I went with a bit of poetic justice and used the Sword of the Creator. I'm glad I did because I got a very nice crit out of it 😊 I'm glad I equipped Lysithea with an evasion ring because she was very squishy and that I had 2 Gremories with me. So it's finally time to kick this guy's ass into oblivion. Finally! Lorewise, it should have been the boss from the Church path, fighting side by side with Lady Seiros. I'm simping, I know. Me and Claude can do this, though. He's a great companion! Nemesis is lvl 60 (I'm not) and has a nice shield around him... I wish #FE3H had a photo mode because I think this screenshot of Catherine against the Immaculate One is really badass. You see that there aren't many enemies around. And we are only two units, maybe? Glad I wasn't playing in classic mode. This was one of a few tries at this boss, but it worked out well in the end. The fight between Lady Seiros and Nemesis is among the cutscenes I watched the most. I mean, you just know that with a cutscene like that, right at the start of the game, you're in for a treat.
