I don't know why no one thought about this at Twitter, but Elon should just rebrand the rate limit and call it a hate limit. With all the nazis and what not it would instantly make sense to most users:

Interesting* thing I learned this week

If your HLS main manifest specifies multiple audio tracks with different language labels.
And you have one language set up as default.
Safari will COMPLETELY IGNORE that default and use the track matching the system default language instead.

@sam Right, they prefer it as measured by time spent/engagement, derived metrics from those 2. They might even prefer in generic surveys.

But the goal shouldn’t be to endlessly grow total time spent.
I very much like that mastodon doesn’t show me megaviral nonsense posts… even if it means i’ll spend less time here compared to what I did on twitter.

When services snap back against the MitM attack on #theInternet they are adding value to it. Its not a limitation. Its a free education. The same should be done for #Amazon Cloud, #Azure and Oracle.

Blocking #Cloudflare is a feature, not a bug. :)
