The legislation, which was publicly released Sunday evening, accomplishes much for President #Biden & House Speaker #KevinMcCarthy, enabling both to tout a victory that appeared elusive just days ago.
 For Biden, the deal avoids the headache of another #DebtCeiling debate this term, while staving off Republican demands for steep cuts to #DomesticSpending. McCarthy gets a deal that curtails #FederalSpending & increases some work requirements in #FederalAid programs, such as #FoodStamps.

Proof the #leopards can change spots. In 1975, Joe Biden proposed sunsetting all federal programs every five years.
In 1984, Joe Biden proposed freezing all federal spending, including Medicare and Social Security.
In 1985, Joe Biden suggested freezing all federal spending for two years.
In 1995, Joe Biden said “Whenni argued grat. we should freeze federal spending, I meant Social Security as well. I meant Medicare and Medicaid. I meant veterans’ benefits. I meant every single thing in the government.” End quote. (Oops, not supposed to read that.)
