Hi @Jermolene
Given the wiki-ness of #TiddlyWiki, is it a stretch to think of a #FederatedWiki of Tiddlywikis? Taking the liberty of CC'ing @k9ox 😀
@khinsen @SReyCoyrehourcq @k9ox
Yes, that is exactly the mission of the wiki wiki school http://school.wiki.dreyeck.ch/. #FederatedWiki
@SReyCoyrehourcq
Yes, it is possible for everyone to test #FederatedWiki on their local machine, see Running your own Server https://github.com/fedwiki/wiki#running-your-own-server
and I would be happy to set up a subdomain for you on top of that, analogous to http://konrad.hinsen.dreyeck.ch @khinsen @k9ox

I think Konrad's comment gets to the heart of an essential point: the #FederatedWiki software and the computer are means to a common purpose for us – Computational Medium

@zsbenke Handwritten notes (Index Zettel) and Emacs combined with #FederatedWiki would be my alternative.
The #FederatedWiki neighborhood is held in memory by the client, so does not persist beyond the current wiki browsing session. Anything which reloads the client will start a new session, and builds a new neighborhood.
@khinsen When I created your #FederatedWiki site, I had set up what is called a Roster on the "Welcome Visitors" page.
Yes, my wiki is not automatically in your neighborhood. One way to add it is to click on its flag in the roster.

'm looking for a way to project one's wiki page through a #Portal into a #3D #Scene where we can share #Variations and create a better #Future.

@mattodon Yes, I don't have much to add to @khinsen : In my courses I use among others teaching material from Mike Caulfield. In particular, you may want to watch the video of the simulation "Arthur C. Clarke Uses #FederatedWiki" to get a sense of what Following might mean to you in our wiki context. https://wiki.ralfbarkow.ch/view/federated-education/view/arthur-c-clarke-uses-federated-wiki

Wow I'd forgotten this long old thread on #federatedwiki and stuff. Just making a new link now, with the recent thread on #Earthstar @gwil

Not a strong connection, but wiki wizards continue to look for ways to make wiki fully serverless @paul90
THAT would be fabulous! I await the day. I've been thro hard labour this past year or two, seeking a wiki hosting platform that means I don't have to go up a learning curve myself as an admin - life's too short 🙄
