Interesting but expected... Ran #FedFinder today and the accounts it recognizes decreased 5% from my 12/15 run. Am curious what other peoples' stats are if you're the type of keep the old CSV files laying around.

Mit #Fedfinder von @Luca könnt ihr schauen, welcher eurer #Twitter Profile / Accounts bei #Mastodon sind.

Anschließend könnt ihr eine *.csv-Liste in Euer Mastodon-Profil importieren oder ihr nutzt die Schaltfläche zum folgen, was bei vielen Treffern aber mühsam wäre.

Finde das Tool Fedfinder sehr praktisch und kann es daher empfehlen.

Alright, after three tries, it seems the mastodon.online isn't able to import my following list from #fedfinder. For this and other reasons (I'm hearing it's slow), I'm going to try and move to another instance. Watch this space.

Hey #fediverse friends, I used the #fedfinder #migrate tool and I thought I remember seeing a pie chart of which instances my followers etc were joining - but is there a similar tool for exploring #mastodon followers? Interested in moving off the big .social instance but not quiiiite sure where to land.

Just used #Fedfinder to find my bird place followers and following and merge them here

@Luca Thank you for creating #fedfinder! I just used it today for the first time. I imported the csv file into mastodon, and mastodon said it would process my request in due time. Do you know roughly how long that might be? Hours, days…? I don’t mind waiting, I just want to know when I should give up and try again. Thanks again!

More improvements for #fedfinder.

The results now display basic stats for each instance and if the registration is open. Thanks for the hint @pfefferle.

Better check if something is part of the #fediverse.

Data handling is still a mess, but less messy now, which results in fewer requests to the server and less jumping text.
