I'm talking with someone on a dating site who I'm starting to suspect is a chatbot.
But, it could also be someone whose first language isn't English (which is what I thought at first).

What sort of things do I ask or say that would trip up a chatbot, but not be insulting to an actual person in this scenario?

How do you personally handle your backups? How often do you test them?

I personally use a combination of syncthing & restic. I cold store my backups in a safe deposit box (data in the GB). Data is not particularly sensitive, but useful to me.

I just find my process a little tedious and I'd like a better pruning / testing routine. I also wish I had a medium I trusted more, but LTO is expensive / space consuming.

Hey Fedi, I need some advice about soldering irons.

The ‘s’ key on my keyboard is dying, and its twin has a dead ‘n’ key. 😕 It’s time to get a soldering iron and replace some switches. 🙂 It’s been a long while, so I don’t have any equipment.
