@Are0h @neia I think the confusing wording there is "extension of the #fediblock hashtag" -- sounds like you mean a philosophical continuation, not a technical integration.

Also the page's intro makes it sound like every single instance that appears in the list has been human-verified as housing bad actors, as being poorly moderated, AND are putting marginalized people at risk, while the How Does It Work section sounds much more technically accurate. Maybe some tweaks can benefit understanding?

If there is a valid reason NOT to do this (e.g number of users), how do users like myself that do not want to be visible to and from Meta block Threads ourselves?

EDIT: FOUND IT - in preferences->followers there is the option to "remove all followers from the selected domains" so I am now searching to ensure nobody at threads.net is following me.

EDIT2: no followers from threads.net and I plan to keep it that way.

If the h5q.net moderators have not cracked down on CSAM and thus forced woof.group to suspend the instance, gaygeek.social will follow suit. Please encourage any non-child-porn accounts you would like to continue following to migrate elsewhere before then.
