Have there been some standards for naming key topic areas on Mastodon, does anyone know?

For example, for state legislation, besides #[State] or #[StateNews]

I was thinking something like #LegislationVirginia or #VirginiaLegislation

The reason I'm asking is that an appalling anti-trans bill has been introduced in the #VirginiaSenate and that got me wondering what common hashtags there might be to follow for general information about what states are up to.
