@afif One way to find people & get noticed is using hashtags. However, it’s far from perfect as people don’t always settle on the same hashtags, some Malaysia-related hashtags include #mytoots #Fedijaya #Malaysia #Malaysians and so on.

RE: last boost, I’m going to boost some of the intros of active Malaysian accounts for visibility. #Malaysian #malaysia #Fedijaya #mytoots #tootSEA

Close your eyes, imagine a Malaysian version of American Gods exploring the backstories of Malay supernatural entities that were once powerful deities, forgotten gods that left traces in Hindu-Buddhist ruins, Chinese deities with local human origins like Na Tuk Gong, and the kaleidoscope of deities in East Malaysian, Hindu & Orang Asli religions/folklore with fascinating & complicated stories to tell.
(What a pity that it’ll be too sensitive in today’s Malaysia.)
Since my old posts from the previous instance can’t be carried over, I’d make my timeline a bit more interesting by reposting some old #MalaysianFood photos.

Since Musk's antics the day of the World Cup finale there's been a tipping point -- there's enough content in my Mastodon feed now that it's become a habit the same way the Twitter feed was.
#Malaysia content is still lacking though. Still some ways to go for #fedijaya to displace #Twitterjaya but hopefully we get there.
