Okay, first model completed since opening this account, as inspired by @sparkles, done for my new profile pic (to come).

Made from an original 1973 moulding of an Airfix 1:76(!) scale RAF officer, mounted on a 1990s Warhammer Ultramarine base. The rest was scratch built from stretched sprue, tissue paper, and local sand.

My #Fedipaint entry is finished! Had a blast spending time on this mini and doing a simple custom base. I’ve pushed everything I’d been practicing lately from flesh undertones to highlights. Really had the best fun. A huge thank you @Berit for instigating this.

Finally got the #Hobby groove. Haven’t been up to it between being in a post-trip heap and my lovely daughter taking my “Gouge the eyes, and the All Ireland will come” chat too serious, meaning a couple of trips to the opticians to find out I’ll have a wee scar to show for my parenting. 😂

Put in some work on the legs of my #fedipaint entry. I think I can call them done and move onto the armour. Feeling pleased with this so far. #minipainting

Family Wedding that bookends this trip over us. We’ll be heading home to the other island in short order where normal #hobby service will resume. Meanwhile, my excitement to get cracking with #FediPaint has me working more on the #Mordheim Halfing Cook.

Currently on the white of the tunic, a highlight or two off finishing that. Concurrently started messing with the flesh. Wee patches of volupus pink hiding under the cheeks and some highlights.

Have a #Hobby dilemma. Still not back from this daft paternity facilitated break to Ireland. So what to do about #FediPaint. I’m keen for it to be something from my Stirland River Patrol I pop into the mix, but had a mini in mind which is comfortable sat at home-home. Do I lean into my halfing cook/scout? 😂

Taking things a little slower with this one since it's for @Berit #fedipaint - working up a little camo pattern. Think I'll add either black or white speckle pattern amongst it to break it up.

A little progress on those skyre acolytes.

Some of the 8th ed WFB bits are indeed coming in handy to help with the kitbash, namely open hands (some archers bits I think) the canon balls, and some flail bit.

I need to do the heads next, not sure how I am going to do the gaz masks, there might be some on the sprue somewhere
