@dansup This looks awesome. I am working on a federated question/answer platform, (#fediQuest), which could definitely benefit from this. I had to dig into the Mastodon sources on occasion and modify my Mastodon instance to log more verbosely in order to test things like HTTP signatures before, being able to easily test that Create, Follow, Like etc. activities work correctly and can be seen/accepted by 3rd party servers would make the process much more pleasant.

I'd gladly be an early tester.

@emacsen Osada had basic support for groups when it was still being developed, but the project is dead now.

Other than that, only #fediquest plans to support question/answer sharing for groups, but that project is still in very early stages.

@mariusor Interesting. I am working on a complete ActivityPub server as part of a project (#fediQuest) and derided to extrapolate this into a library in case it's useful elsewhere, it was actually a monolith until recently.

I decided to start sharing parts of #fediQuest as they become mature.

Today, I am releasing a #Golang library for decoding ActivityStreams 2.0 objects into native Go objects and also for encoding Go objects into ActivityStreams 2.0 JSON objects.

The usage is your typical Go Marshal/Unmarshal, (see tests for examples).

The license is copyleft (AGPLv3).
