@swarthmoreburke I was just discussing a directory idea with @arrbee last night. Would be awesome if there was a way for people to opt-in to a directory that was searchable by real name, profile description, username, etc. Let people chose which of their profile fields are searchable or not. Probably would have to be a federated model enabled by each instance to fit with the #fediv model. Wonder if anyone has considered this yet.
