> one app that supports both Akkoma and Mastodon
AFAIK the Pleroma family ( including Akkoma), like a bunch of other fediverse server software (eg the MissKey family, including FireFish), support the Mastodon API for connecting apps to servers. So any app that works on Mastodon will work on them.
There's a table of apps here, complete with with what OS they run on, and what server software they support:

Just set up Tuba - a GNU/Linux desktop app - for use with my Mastodon account. The onboarding was very impressive!

#Phanpy ကို #Elk ထက် ပိုကြိုက်သွားပြီ။
ရှင်းရှင်းလင်းလင်းရှိပြီးတော့ သောက်ရမ်းလှတယ်။ 😍
Keep up the good work @phanpy 🥰

I have a weird urge to spawn more preferably useful #Mastodon bots so @dailymusic won't be so lonely, but can't really come with good ideas of usefulness. So if anyone suddenly has ideas of what kind of automation they'd love to see here, propositions are very welcome.

This is a nice folder ☺️ I’m really happy with the #Fediverse so far.
Mona and Radiant for Mastodon,
Mlem for Lemmy (I’m on Beehaw)
and Pixelfed, it’s like Instagram but better, I haven’t used it yet, but… soon™️
Outside of some specific work purposes (and writing to my Grandma) I’m now off the other platforms and I hope to keep it that way.

Does anyone know of a Mastodon browser client (live or being worked on) that handles columns and multiple user accounts at once?
So like, the default Mastodon UI or Phanpy, but with the ability to set one column to the feed of another logged in account for example? Like TweetDeck I suppose.
I've tried a macOS client, Mona - but really find myself wanting to use Mastodon in the browser instead of a whole standalone app.

Trying out some #fediverseapps again after a while, I had tried out the official Mastodon app and Tusky before settling on Fedilab. Not many changes, other than that the official Mastodon app now shows post statistics (like and boost numbers) without you having to open the post in full to check, and overall seems like the UX has massively improved. Still a very minimal app that doesn't give you many features though.
I created a #pixelfed account, I uploaded a picture, and there's an explicit browser link for that post.
I logged into that #instance on #mastodon so I can see myself through the #fediverse, but how can I share my pic either from pixelfed to mastodon or from one instance to another?

Fantastic article by @EposVox explaining how the #fediverse and #mastodon is putting the Internet back in the user's hands.

Hey, do you like Metatext for iOS and #Mastodon?
Would you like to keep Metatext around? Yes, yes you would.
I think you should click on this world wide web hyperlink and contribute what you can: https://opencollective.com/metabolist

#fedilab supports pinning messages after the latest few updates, and Tusky hasn't been updated in a while. If anyone is still browsing the trend of #fediverseapps i highly recommend switching, Fedilab now supports every feature Mastodon provides.
Though be warned, notifications are a bit of a hassle to handle, and Fedilab doesn't look as good as Tusky.
Redoing a thread I had done on #fediverseapps for Mastodon and what they do (or don't) support, with updated thoughts and experience:-
Mastodon for Android
+ Shows trending hashtags
+ Shows trending news articles
+ Shows recommended accounts
+ Shows likes and boosts without you having to click through to a post
- No drafts
- No public timeline across instances
- No lists
- No bookmarks for posts
- No pinning posts
This is something that I think the #fediverseapps still are in diapers and the fediverse also in some aspects this is because there aren't many apps for the social networks in the fediverse and the fediverse in general have a problem the example is #peerturbe the problem with the limited capacity for videos is that delete old videos to do space for new videos It doesn't like to people that uploads videos It has to ask about it has more difficult for people
I’m following https://twit.social/@x_minus_t simply because of the cool Washington Metro station picture in his profile.
BTW, for those new to Mastodon (and ActivityPub in general, you can use fully qualified URLs for any username in the #fediverseapps as well. Mine are https://mastodon.cloud/@JasonLGatewood and https://pixelfed.social/@starrwulfe) #mastodontips
It's down to #Tusky and a #PWA. I uninstalled #Fedilab on my Android phone.
I had issues with Fedilab updating the various feeds and the presentation just didn't jive with me as much as Tusky's does. I kept opening Tusky to see what was going on here.
