This morning I bumped into a toot or lemmy post (can't find it now) about someone saying we need a proxy UI that takes care of all your identities in the various apps. And that is well possible.

For these kinds of thoughts there's the #FediverseIdea initiative started by @helge and to found at #Codeberg at: https://codeberg.org/fediverse/fediverse-ideas

Here one might drop off such ideas so that others can follow-up with more info and - who knows - start a project to realize it in practice.

I once found a Github #FOSS project that had built an almost complete #Stackoverflow alternative. Unfortunately couldn't find it later. It would be a great app to offer federation support. Your idea is good, and it can be generalized as a kind of themed PubSub fedi service.
