#FediverseMentalHealth After reading the article on Medium, I'm even more convinced of the point of applying management techniques to the project, in order to move the pressure away from the people who currently take it all. Also, taking measures now to prevent further build-up of pressure by keeping each instance human-size and interconnected.

If your take-away from my post about mental health on the fediverse is to pitch me your new project, umm... I think you completely missed the part where I said I'm feeling all these things too (at times) 🤦🏻‍♀️

Like no offense or anything, but just no.. I don't have the energy to take on _even more_ stuff.

I've talked a bit about how I think #blocklists are a "when you only have a hammer" solution to a problem and that we can do so much better than them for a lot of use cases. They can have a place, but they are a start, not an end.

But beyond even that we can do _so so much better_ than manually updated blocklists that people seem to expect everyone to absorb via osmosis.

I firmly believe our current situation is a recipe for burnout.
