: If you don't put a caption on your photo or video, I am not boosting you. If our vision impaired friends can't understand what's going on in a piece of media, then it's not worth sharing. Which is a shame because there's a lot of stuff I want to boost. Especially pictures.

Kind of kicking myself that I didn't start making a note of how I "met" people I follow here in the notes section of their profiles. It tickles me whenever I see two people I interact with also interact with each other (outside the local server) and I always want to know if I stumbled across one via the other or if the connection is actually more complex. This is going to bug me to no end...

I keep seeing people say we’re gonna get a new Twitter wave because of the third party API stuff. But I’ve yet to see anything like the wave of introductions that happened when I came and right after. Am I just not seeing it, or is it not materializing?

I've not seen that on other platforms really, aside from like self-destructing messages.
(imma set mine to 2 weeks)

It probably helps with server costs too right ? Maybe even , if everyone on the platform did it by default? 🤔
