Especially between Wednesday and Saturday, it will snow heavily at times. 10 to 20 cm are quite possible even in valleys, in higher elevations up to 50 cm are likely, in exposed inner alpine high elevations even more than 1 m.

Why haven't we seen Mastodon accounts yet? Is it a government thing where it takes jumping through 50 hoops? I've heard a lot over the years from #weather folks that there's broad recognition of needing to communicate more broadly via social platforms. So where's the action now?
