Since most of my feed talks about #fedora , let me introduce you to something I did back in 2005, where Fedora didn't have any version that you can run directly from a CD ...
Introducing #Fedora #live an idea that I worked hard to accomplish using #linux live script, it was built using Fedora Core 3 ..
I think at that time it was the second live version that was ever produced by the community

As an honorary Corkonian, I've added some useful information for Fedora Flock 2023. I'll be polishing it through the week, but there's some preliminary transportation, sightseeing, and local info.

What information would you like to see as a @fedora Flock attendee? I want to make sure it's as useful as possible to folks :)

Interested in #flatpak in #Fedora? Seems like there will be a new Flatpak Special Interest Group (SIG) that will start meeting in January 2023.
Team will be focused on "maintaining existing Fedora Flatpaks, maintaining the Fedora Flatpak runtime, improving the documentation around Fedora Flatpaks and improving the packager experience when working with Fedora Flatpaks."
Find out more in their wiki!

@johnbeers All of those apps are available as flatpaks, so if they've been working for you then I would imagine you're good.
However, if you wanted to move to a similar distro that gets more testing and offers more support from the community, you could always switch the regular #Fedora.
But I am a biased #FedoraProject contributor, lol
For those who may have been familiar with this brand at the time, what is your impression of the name *Fedora Atomic*? That brand became the DE specific #Silverblue and #Kinoite, Fedora's immutable, OSTree based offering.
Did you like that brand? Was the distro a good experience at the time or too rough around the edges? Would you like to see it come back? What are your thoughts?
#silverblue #Kinoite #fedora #fedoraproject #linux #foss
@zhenboli We can and probably would use both. The thinking behind #FedoraProject is to have a way to filter to Fedora related posts that are more about contributions than just #Fedora itself. Basically all #FedoraProject posts are likely under #Fedora, but not everything that is under #Fedora is specifically about contribution. I don't expect someone distrohopping to use #FedoraProject, but it would be nice if the Docs team used it for updates on what they're up to, for example.
Fedora contributors: how do we feel about using #FedoraProject as the hashtag for specifically discussing things going on in the contributor community?
What would this be used for? How about when we have social hours coming up, or elections for committees, or significant discussions going on in the forum that we want feedback for?
And by using that hashtag, we can find each other more easily than if we tried to find fellow contributors via #Fedora.
What do you think?
If you contribute to #Fedora and are part of the #FedoraProject, please let me know so I can follow you. :)
This is probably the case already on Twitter, but I'm liking the potential of Mastodon as a space to informally connect with contributors that isn't the social chat room or the Water Cooler category in our forum.
I like following hashtags rather than, or better to say, additionally to following people.
Though I guess soon we will get overlapping scopes and this is where the concept of unique group ids reappears.
I mean how long it is until we have namespaced hashtags like `#fedoraproject.org/fedora` so that we are not mixed with fashion bloggers?
@drewdevault This seems like the kind of thing that folks in the #FedoraProject would be interested in as we're currently evaluating the state of #accessibility in #fedora and #linux in general.
Started passing this a long to other Fedora people who can do more than me!
