Shoutout to @krusynth for https://billhunt.dev/jobs/
My old #fedtech boss just came to me looking for ways to get eyes on a #civictech posting and it was great to have a curated list of resources to hand her.
I know there are a lot of #job seekers out there right now, so I'll just throw this out there:
I've worked in #civicTech for my whole career so far, including a tiny state agency, an enormous state agency, a small federal agency, and an independent (quasi-governmental nonprofit) agency.
It has been at times disappointing and frustrating, but also monumentally rewarding.
If you have any questions about how to transition or whether you'd like it, ask away!

When I was a civil servant I felt like I was seeing the worst of governmant inefficiency, and I can tell you the biggest, almost the sole driver of inefficiency in government is fear: no one wants to have their name on a decision someone might object to later. Indecision or bad decisions are fine as long as no one's name is on it.
Stuff like the above is makes it so much worse.
