Does anyone use (or has previously) any of #Inoreader, #Newsblur, or #Feedbin and have any opinions about them to share with me? As I slowly try to reorganize and reorient how I do things I feel like I want start using a good rss reader for organization and keeping on top of things.

Now that I'm primarily using #firefox again, the only thing I'm missing is a setting/extension with which I can send RSS feeds to #Feedbin with one click in order to subscribe to them there. Are there any tips for this?
You used to be able to enter your own contentHandler in about:config, but that seems to have been lost at some point.
@voxpelli @feedbin interesting had not heard of that app.
I’ve exported my #Stitcher #OPML file to 2 apps, Overcast and Podbean.
Both have a Something called a playlist (can have multiple), Overcast’s afaict is NOT at all like Stitcher show categories.
Will hafta see if Podbean does that and try out #feedbin as well.
After late 2022’s migrate from bird to wooly mammoth or whale, and newbie pain, I’ll hafta see how patient I am w THIS migration. 2 months to try stuff out.
Hot Tip:
If you still need to follow a few people on Twitter, but refuse to use Twitter, here's what you can do. Replace `twitter.com` with `nitter.it` and add `/rss` to the end. So `nitter.it/somehandle/rss`
This will give you an RSS feed you can follow in any feed reader, such as #FeedBin.
It sucks anybody's still there, but here's a way you can avoid having to use the birdsite yourself.
@utopify_org Agreed! 😇 I use #feedbin and NewsFlash. https://github.com/feedbin/feedbin, https://gitlab.com/news-flash/news_flash_gtk
I never needed #reddit, as I've always been more of a #MetaFilter person. I put the few subreddits I follow into #Feedbin and deleted my account. That said, I landed on #kbin today and got an account. It reminds me of the old internet.
#reddit #metafilter #feedbin #kbin
I'm honestly not sure what I'll do in the future if YouTube continues on a path of #enshittification and messes with #Feedbin’s access. (That's primarily how I subscribe to and watch YT channels these days.)
I still pay for YouTube Premium, because I have little tolerance for ads of any kind, so as far as I'm concerned I have the right to use a frontend other than YouTube's UI. But if they decide to lock things down to protect ad revenue…I dunno. This stuff keeps me up at night. 😵💫
How #accessible is #feedbin on the web? Switching to lire, but thinking I might want access to my #rss feeds on windows. #a11y @mastoblind

@bigtechblows Web / Apple / Windows. I was looking at #Feedbin but not sure how it compares to #Feedly or other services.
Since many of you are looking for alternatives to #Feedly I'd like to share that I really fell in love with #NewsFlash, a desktop app that makes a great combo with #Nextcloud News, but also supports other popular newsfeed aggregators: #inoreader, #feedbin...
Give it a try: https://gitlab.com/news-flash/news_flash_gtk
#feedly #newsflash #Nextcloud #inoreader #feedbin
@silver_huskey seems like #feedbin is a decent alternative to #feedly, albeit quite expensive* for an indian like me haha
@mmusante I’ve been using #Feedbin for years as a backend. #NetNewsWire is free if you’re on #Mac/#iPhone/#iPad. #RSS
#feedbin #netnewswire #mac #rss
Oop, there it goes. #Feedbin was my last method of keeping up with people who haven't left Twitter yet. Guess I can't any more updates. Oh well, they know where I am.
It's still a masterclass RSS reader engine though. Highly recommend.
