I got home very late last night after pinball club, and slept in. My 4am quiet practices were at 8am, after I filled the bird feeders and spread some dried corn and seeds on the deck. I paused and opened my eyes during prayer and meditation time, and this is what I saw!

We had our first (small) snowfall last night, so I when I looked out of the window and saw a few chickadees looking hopeful in the area we hang our birdfeeder I thought I'd relent and put some seeds out.

There were a couple of chickadees in a tree quite close when I went outside, so I put some seeds on my hand and held it out to them. After a couple of 'fly-bys' 2 of them landed on my hand and took a seed!

I love where I live ❤️
