Just made this "product" in 5 minutes with my feeds : http://my.feedland.org/benb/ @davew
I'd probably have to mess around with my feeds (at least for the Ukraine and Russia tab) to be able to display MP4 videos as enclosure, also not sure #feedland can ingest that ?
Anyway, it's fun to build, just bypass the TLS warning, there is no HTTPS on this link!
amazing to see all of the new micro blogging networks: Scuttlebutt, Nostr, Mastodon and Feedland - I think RSS will be huge in the new landscape because there are 15 million+ sites already equipped - huge ecosystem. I wonder how the Tweetbot mastodon client is doing, anyone using it ? #microblogging #RSS #blockchain #activitypub #feedland #ostatus #pubsubhubbub #identica #laconica #twitarmy #friendfeed #track #xmpp #jabber #indieweb #dweb #web3

Have you had a play with adding https://mastodon.social/tags/RSS.rss to #FeedLand ?
I've added it to my collection at:

/cc @judell
@davew says on hit Scripting.com site:
(I added #tags)
The feed list in #FeedLand is a new way to read the #news. And it's a good way to read the news. When I want to find out what's new among feeds I follow, it's the first place I go.
You can read my feed list without logging on. feedland.org

@leoboulton Yes yes YES! 1,000 X YES. I want this! (Use a blog with #mastodon)
#Wordpress (I hear) can interop with #mastodon
#tumbr will soon interop with Mastodon
#micro.blog looks VERY promising
Need:
#markdown support
#RSS support
Keep @davew in the loop. He has some VERY cool stuff in the pipeline, especially his recent #FeedLand service
e.g. http://feedland.org/?username=RonKJeffries
I don't fully understand Feedland but like what I see so far.

Latest:
I've been able to get #FeedLand working, but only after I figured out that the empty page post login implied I hadn't subscribed to anything.
I've now successfully added two #RSS feed subscriptions, as per screenshots.
Suggestion:
Adding a <link rel=alternate" type="text/xml;profile=opml" href={opml-doc-url}> in the <head/> section of FeedLand page would help with #OPML agents with auto-discovery.
#feedland #rss #opml #openweb #news #syndication #subscription #feeds
This is impressive.
This is impressive.
I am playing with the #FeedLand service by @davew who invented #RSS
Not sure this link will work, but it's worth a try:

Comments welcome.
I have not (yet) found a crisp explanation of the goals of Feedland. Please let me know if you find one. ;)

Excellent article on #FeeedLand here:

You would be well advised to follow @kensmith or on the Twitter
He is a smart & humble guy who is in touch with @davew Dave Winer, creator of RSS a VERY early blogger at Scripting.com, now developing #FeedLand seems to me to be fascinating but I don't (yet) fully grasp. It does show promise.
Dave Winer is working on a bridge: #mastodon#ActivityPub protocol, & RSS
All in good time.

@Lamhfada check out Inoreader for a full professional set of features for a RSS feed reader in 2022, easily beat feedly or any other readers in terms of features.
But if you want the free route, I'm using FreshRSS for my own personal news reading.
Miniflux is also really neat if you're looking for something very simple.
Working on content interop super-ontology in the #mastodon, #micro.blog, #twitter, #feedland, and #wordpress multiverse.
Posts are actual pieces of content. They are mostly made on the platform where you find them.
Timelines are views into (yours and othersâ) posts. These views are made possible by transmitting information about the post via #RSS (or something else) and aggregating into a timeline. Timelines can include feeds from yours or othersâ sources.

While we're open to exploring new modes of social again ...
I'm posting RSS feeds I subscribe to on #feedland
