I am still new to Mastodon but adore that they are not begging me to give access to my contacts or only showing me limited content. I feel as this is what grown up internet looks like, what a breath of fresh air. For context, I left all social media several years ago due to privacy and algorithms, so it is delightful to slowly find all the accounts I used to follow on twitter, but on a responsible platform. #Mastodon #feelingsafe

How do you make yourself feel safe?

I’ve been thinking about that a lot lately

Not actual safety I am happy with the level of risk and precautions I take in my life and the balance I’ve made

But I’m after that feeling of safety when someone wraps you in their arms I’m bed and you pull up the covers to shut out the world.

What do you do to get that feeling alone?
