#Reading two different books on #femalefighters, i thought maybe one would be good, one bad. But really one is heavy on #feminist theory, #gender as a construct, our relationship to #violence, #selfdefense & #combatsports. The other is focused on the history of women #professionalfighters with lots of vivid characters/ historical figures to illustrate. I didn't like the examination of the stereotype of women as weak with "daughters of Eve," but i think both of these #books will work together.
