In one of the best-known German business magazines for women, the new issue is about Vereinbarkeit - the daily struggle to balance work and family life. On the cover is a married couple who run several companies while raising 4 children. The two are successors to a family dynasty and are very wealthy by birth. In her podcast, she shared that they've had about 16 nannies so far. I don't like it that such families lead the debate on Vereinbarkeit in Germany. #whitefeminism #feministkilljoy

In the late 80's/early 90's in Oz, there was the whole trope about feminists being "ugly leso femo's"*.

A friend & I (cis, het), in our late teens/early 20s, were pissed off with this and decided to declare ourselves as ugly leso femo's. So if guys brought it up, and they always did because fem-baiting was really big too, we would say, yeah, we are ugly leso femo's, what of it?!

Seriously, the freaked out looks on their faces was fricken beautiful. It was a good way to show solidarity and to sort the wheat from the chaff.
