My friend text me to say she doesn't think she can work full-time anymore and just wants to look after her kids and her animals. I feel the same. While I don't have kids at home anymore or any pets, I just want to walk in nature, write and read books. I'm so pleased the ambition of my 20s and 30s has withered and I'm noticing a pattern with other women my age. We're tired, we've had enough, and we just want some time to ourselves.
