Our little #feral mama cat, Amber, has had six kittens (two black, two grey tabby, one tortie, one orange tabby). The place where she has them stashed is not easy to take pics. They are about five days old, and as cute as can be. I have no idea where she had them before this; I just know when she stopped looking like a dilute tortoiseshell basketball with paws.

Feral Cats are a problem everywhere. These are just two of the many feral cats in my life. Please Spay or neuter your cats. At work we have nearly a hundred feral cats which have been dumped on our property, and we work with a local veterinarian to have them fixed.

When I got up this morning the outside feral cat was in his little storage tub cubby! Success! I didn't think he'd get in it. Now maybe he won't get frostbite. I'm doing some absolutely absurd things to try to create a warm spot on my covered back porch for a skittish feral cat. I wish he'd let us pick him up, he'd be in the house. My big project for this evening is to make a cat hidey hole for a feral cat that's taken up residence on our back porch. He won't let us touch him so can't capture him to bring inside this weekend when brutal winter weather hits. I'm in Tennessee and we usually don't deal with single digit/minus 0 windchill.
