And while I eat at #Murcia, another knowledge bit: that grey tower is more than just an ERTMS antenna, it's a lateral wind detector. If there's too much wind, it limits the track speed to keep trains safety in HSR.
Mientras como en Murcia, otro dato: esta torre gris no es solo una antena de #ERTMS, es también un sensor de viento lateral. Cuando hay mucho viento, limita la velocidad del tramo, para preservar la seguridad de los trenes en Alta Velocidad.

I'm on my 6th train of the day, another Regional from #Cartagena to #Murcia (stoping at #TorrePacheco and #Balsicas). Here you have some interesting stuff I've found at Cartagena Renfe station: An old document from the #MZA Company and a geographical 3D map of the region. The last one is very old, it has the rail link Murcia~Almería and also the line of #Torrevieja (both closed and destroyed, but a new HSR connection with #Almería is being made for the Mediterranean Corridor).

The seats are more like a bus, but as the line is short, it's confortable enough. I've went just to #LaUnion, because I've needed to take a train on #Cartagena (I'm on it right now hehe, back to #Murcia). Here in #Spain, all the #Feve lines are in the North (Basque Country, Galicia, etc), but this one in Murcia is the exception. (Other lines where given to Autonomic Administrations: #FGV, #FGC...)

...pero antes unas fotos mas del interior des vestíbulo de la estación de convencional. La verdad que se nota que tiene tiempo la línea. Se agradece que se mantengan estas cosas antiguas, como en València Nord.
Tampoco esperaba que tuviesen una antigua locomotora en la entrada, que grata sorpresa (aunque soy mas de EMUs hehe)

Pues ya estoy en cartagena, una estación bonita, aunque en verdad son cuatro paredes son nada detrás uwu algo triste (aunque pongan villancicos de fondo xD).
La estación es tambien obra de la MZA la compañía de los ferrocarriles de Madrid a Zaragoza y Alicante, una de las antiguas grandes de españa. Pero no es la única estación de ferrocarril que tiene Cartagena...

Good morning! Hoy tengo mañana de ferroturismo xD eso significa que iré de #Alacant a #Cartagena y volveré en la misma mañana (en ambos casos, pasando por #Murcia del Carmen).
