The remains of at least three ceremonial wagons were discovered in the Býčí skála Cave near Brno, Czech Republic. The wagon boxes and wheel spokes are decorated with ornate bronze fittings; iron tyres cover the wooden felloes; the impression of running spirals emerges from a speed of 15 km/h. Some wagon parts were wrapped in fabric before they were deposited.

`#Celtic chariots were drawn by two horses. As with the chariots, only parts of the bridle were sacrificed. The length of the two heavy chains suggests these were used to connect the horse to the coupling. Such chains were previously only known from Roman mules.`
