I might be able to score another free #Festiva from the PNW. Pretty exciting if it comes through. That'll be 3 in my fleet. I'll be able to do some engine swapping and maybe some resto work and then sell one of them. They're really going up in value.
Sometimes it pays to have people know how much you like a niche car.
ha. from the looks of the cover image, used #Festiva prices are a major contributor to inflation.... and nose jobs. lol.
Wow. The #Festiva community is so cool. Someone posted a video of a festy on the side of the road to ask if they were on the group and what happened.
Others immediately recognized that it was a car that had been posted as stolen just a few hours prior. and had the videographer turn around and call the police.
About 3 hours from posting a stolen car to recovering it because everyone is so eager to help each other.
@ai6yr @SpaceLifeForm But I also found out by posting on the #Festiva forum that this is identical to a problem seen on several other festies that has never been solved, so if I can peg the source of the issue it'll help lots of folks in the future.
LOL. That's a Ford #Festiva turned into a sugar cane press at the beginning. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wegREMAp_Gc&t=18
Common post on my #Festiva group. 15,000 enthusiasts who are dedicated to keeping their cars on the road.
Spent the day doing a sort, inventory, & organize of my #Festiva parts cache. This is what it takes to keep a 30 year old car on the road for many many more years.
My #Festiva has 63 horses and I keep up just fine on LA freeways even when carrying 2 cu yards of mulch or 900lbs of decomposed granite in her.
