So, the British #FestivalOfArchaeology starts tomorrow, because, you know, they just can't do it with the rest of Europe, they're British (but then we have two festivals of archaeology a year, can't complain). #AskAnArchaeologist Day is on Friday the 21st. Spread the hashtag, tell all your contacts to ask us questions ! I saw quite a lot of archaeologists joining lately, i hope this will be more successful than the #EADays (Europe Archaeology Days)

This week the CPAT team started a new project at Powis Castle.
One of the most significant castles in Wales, Powis dates from the 13th century. It has been in the Herbert family since the 1500s.
Our project is looking for the remains of a Dutch-style water garden, built around 1705 and abandoned a century later.
Supported by the National Trust and Council for British Archaeology.
Open days 15-16 July. More updates soon!

Just had a really exciting discussion around developing an adapted form of our guidelines to help support the #CBA #FestivalofArchaeology, and help event organisers provide safe and supported opportunities for those with #mentalhealth issues who might otherwise experience barriers to participation. Really looking forward to the next steps on this journey @PaulEverill @K_J_Burnell
