My most ambitious #cachet yet… #chemainusbc is the home of the #festivalofmurals . After industry change caused some economic downturn, one Karl Shutz had the idea to turn the town into a destination by painting #murals that tell the story of Chemainus all across the town. Since 1982, there are now over 60 murals and other public artworks. In addition to the ongoing addition of new murals, older ones are occasionally restored as needed.
