With all the new folks out there, something I've learned:

If you want to be seeing more chatter, search for a hashtag you can guess to be reasonably common, and you can then follow that hashtag.

This gives you an almost-Twitter-esque "You might be interested in" vibe, except you might ACTUALLY be interested in the posts.

I highly recommend #mosstodon, #LichenSubscribe, #FetaVerse and #DiningCar - the first two are moss & lichens, 3rd is cheeses, 4th: train dining cars (puns are optional!)

@chartier Apparently many of the cheese related posts have been at #cheese lately which is a shame because #fetaverse seems like the obvious hashtag to gravitate to. Obligatory cheese content: I saw a Taco Seasoning Gouda (that is a gouda with cumin, onion, garlic, etc) recently and it seemed like the most ridicul..... well ridiculous or not I had to try it anyway.
