I offer the suggestion of renaming that magenta "Magicalenta".

@raineyday
Sorry, I still don't get it.
Prince? Artist previously known as "artist formerly known as prince" who is once again known as prince? How is it related to dihydrogen monoxide?

I've realized that (pure pink) is the perfect color for testing purposes. I usually don't use that color in any of my project...

@foone there's a D&D alignment chart in there somewhere. My vote for chaotic evil:

var div = document.createElement('div');
div.style.backgroundColor = '';
console.log(div.style.backgroundColor); // rgb(255, 0, 255)
const [r, g, b] = div.style.backgroundColor.slice(4, -1).split(',').map(Number)

@coelacanthus another useless thing: slap in a contenteditable attribute and edit your website's style from within your site, no JS required

<style style="display: block; font-family: monospace; white-space: pre;" contenteditable>
/* you can edit me! */
body {
background: #ff00ff;
font-family: Comic Sans MS;
}
</style>

Dear people,

Yesterday was my last day at [XYZ].com

Danny Kay said, "You must turn up your nose at good ideas, and work only on the great ideas."
[XYZ].com is a good idea which I am not content with.

So I am leaving you a parting gift.
[...] avoided negativity, but I really have no such qualms.
If you are sensitive to harsh criticism of your work, please stop reading now.

Here is how you may escape my faux-righteous wrath:
Locate the "delete" button in your email client.
It will help you maintain the illusion that you can actually delete something.
Now, click it. Out of mind, out of sight, safe, happy.

Ciao,

Parting is such sweet sorrow.

...and FARTING is such fun! I am going to fart now. Please cover your nose, eyes, ears, and any other senses that might be offended.
You will be exposed to things you wish nobody ever said to you. If you like, I will look you in the eyes, and say the same things. Email is just a convenience.

Some greedy Arabs whipped a bunch of overloaded camels through the vast silicon desert to haul this code.
Ooo, ooo, it MUST be good! I can't wait to see what the haul is! No, wait, it SUCKS! I am leaving!
If your ego hurts, all the better!

Technology:
Ok, so that glorious web site of yours is a Rube Goldberg contraption.
The code is Kafka-esque to say the least.
I never fully appreciated the meaning of the clichรฉ, "technical debt", until I saw this codebase.

[...], I appreciate your blue-collar-I'm-a-Perl-coder-too antics.
Please leave the code alone. You do not seem to know what you are doing.
The rest of the team indulges you, but nobody actually thinks you're that great a coder.

Design:
The visual design is a hodge-podge of colors and text, relentlessly jammed into each page.
I am not much of a designer, but this "glorious" site really hurts my eyeballs to the point where I avoid looking at it, except in professional capacity.

[...], MVT? Hey, will they love me better if I got my hair dyed , or got my boobs enlarged 34.5765%?
The result is some machine-generated drivel that nobody really likes.
A/B? My vote: let's not go there!

[...], you really should look for another line of work.
I don't know you as person, but I have seen your work, and it is doubleplus ungood.
Do something really different! Something you really like. Imagine. Leave this mediocre place.
I know, you have a family, and a set of pragmatic, rational priorities.
The job is a bit of a sacrifice that we silently put in for the ones we love.

And who doesn't like playing executive, high on one's own ego?

Yet, do we really all have to be such quality-blind hacks?
I seem to expect so much more from all of us, and I feel immensely disappointed.

And job-security-wise, one day, TPG Capital (is that a person?) will decide your fate, calmly, rationally, using some lame software, like (get this) Excel.
These things are never easy to understand.

Do not worry about your job though.
The job really should not be that much of a priority.

We live in California, where there are Earthquakes, and there is Sunshine.
Earthquakes means that you can die, any moment now.
The Sun is always shining but we are usually inside our cubicles when it is.

Does anybody else think that life is too short for this crap?
Repeat this nightmarish rut over, and over again, till your brain gets repetitive stress damage.

I am choosing to let myself be guided by the Sunshine, and not worrying about Earthquakes.

I echo Linus's sentiments! We put up with too much stale garbage in these corporate workplaces.
We get to meet strangers, make friends with them, learn, teach, get along, diffuse complex situations with professional PC humor.
Like The Sims, the aim of each office interaction seems to be to rack up +1's.
The game is very exhausting and tedious after a while.

It seems to me that those smart enough to actually leave the cubicles, are already playing out in the Sunshine.
The rest of you poor devils are the dumbest people out there, who paradoxically think they are smart.
"Look at me -- I got fancy degrees, all kinds of important words in my resume. I speak articulately. I am a professional."

Surround yourself with the kind of people you want to be like.
Personally, I do not wish to be surrounded by a bunch of people who could not find their way out of a cardboard box.

Job security? Freedom? Dignity? Professionalism? Decorum? Propriety? FUCK YOU!
There is so much inhuman nonsense perpetuated in the name of these words!

I don't want to be your friend. I was a prisoner of this cube-farm, a wage-slave, just like you.
Please forgive me, for never attending your extra-extra-special happy hours.
I somehow can't excited about this make-believe family that hands out swag embossed with corporate logos.

Management:

[...] is uninspired, and uninspiring.
The goals he sets are like "move this graph up", or "move that graph down".

Now, listen up, you whiny yuppies! I spent a month, homeless in the woods of Santa Cruz.
I don't care if you have known poverty, personally.
I am homeless, still.
Once a homeless person moves into your soul, you become homeless forever.
I know, you have milk and cereal for the children to worry about.
You would like civilization to continue operating exactly as before.

I however, will be out there disrupting the system of the world.
There are many homeless people out there.
One day, we will storm your fancy homes, and take food.
One day, you will not be able to turn a blind eye to the suffering of others, and go about business as usual.
We are legion. Expect us.

I am going to be part of the force that edits the code of our civilization.
That is a worthy goal, to me.
Not "move this graph up, and maybe you'll get to feed your children another day, and exist in this cube-farm, missing out on the Sunshine, till the day you retire."

I see hacks. They don't know they are hacks. They think they are hackers.

Listen bitches, I am just doing to you what I would expect you to do to me, if you found me stuck in a loop of STUPID.
Curse away! I don't mind.

Best wishes,

- Ashwin.

I just colorized each image with R (), G (), B () and U (, I think, violet for ultraviolet) and used overlay mixing in GIMP; the layer color and stacking order is in the legend. Changing stacking order doesn't make a difference.
