@MarSolRivas
- Je te dis que je préfère le #FF8000
- Mais non, ça n'ira pas avec le pelage du chien. Le #FF7000 est très bien
- Bon le #FF7050?
- Pfff
@alderwick oh i see. so does adobe always use pantone colours internally, or if i had eg #ff8000 is that encoded differently?
if i viewed a pdf from 20 years ago (using adobe software), is that going to show up as #ff8000, or unlicensed pantone no. 1234 black?
@noa Say you had a company with a coloured logo. You can't go to the printers and say “print this in #ff8000”, since their idea of that particular orange varies between printing technologies. So most companies use Pantone's system of colours: their colour no. 1234 will be the same colour across the planet, so your products printed/displayed by Pantone licencees will always look consistent.

@bouncepaw it's the only month of the year when color avatars are allowed, but we only allow #ff8000
Met the Ghost of Stephen Foster at the Hotel Paradise,
This is what I told him as I GAZED into his eyes:
Computers are for crashing,
Pumpkins are for smashing,
If we were fools
bedecked with gules
We'd all look rather dashing! 👻
This is my first October on Fedi and I adore Merveilles Town’s #ff8000 thing.
