Congratulations to George Frees of Harrisonville, one of the four finalists for the American Star in Agriscience award! The American Star awards are among the top individual honors in the National #FFA Organization, recognizing the most exemplary supervised #agricultural experiences.

FFA announced their American Star finalists this afternoon, ahead of October's National #FFAConvention in #Indianapolis.

#Missouri State #FFAConvention is one of the big events I always look forward to (my aging knees, not so much), and the 95th annual event will be next week in Columbia. This year, organizers are adding guided tours of three programs on the #Mizzou campus that regularly attract FFA alums to enroll in.
