For the final week of Fiberuary, fixes and mends, here's a mid-project fix from a couple of years ago - shortening ill-fitting straps on a summery lace top. An inch or so off the straps made it fit much better and be way more wearable.

A late entry to #fiberurary week3: intentional holes. Still feeling terrible, but better enough to go through my wip collection. A pair of Suzie Rodgers Reading Mitts meant for me, a lace collar meant for my mom, and a lace shawl meant for my mom.

Sometimes even colorful yarn shows off texture well. I was happy with this hat I made a few years ago in a knit-along with my cous-sister. Malabrigo Rasta I believe. I remember being surprised how much the spiral showed up. #fiberurary #texture week #knitting @knitting

Really the last entry for color week! Two Malabrigo sock yarn shawls. Smaller shawl is based on Aperture by Hilary Smith Callis. Larger mosaic pattern shawl is Midnight in Spring by Cheryl Faust. #fiberurary #knitting #shawl

#Knitting progress on #ZabetShawl1. I guess this is technically a #fiberurary post because earth tones are my favorites (green and orange being my most favorite) & I am a complete sucker for stripes.

I wanted to get a spread out photo, so the base triangle & where I picked up for the right hand wing could be seen clearly. You can also see that the wing is not a true triangle bc there are decreases to help shape the shawl around the back of the neck. They will be mirrored on the left hand wing.

This was my (so far) only fair isle knitting project.

It was child sized, for my then toddler aged daughter. I had intended is as a testrun to see, if I liked the technique, the Shetland knitting yarn and if I really would be brave enough to cut into the fabric.

The answers where yes, yes and yes. I've worked with that type of yarn, but did never another project.

#fiberurary, ja? #Stricken, ja? #Socken? Socken gehen Immer. Bin ja sonst ein Fan von Farbwechsekgarn, vor allem in viel bunt, aber ausnahmsweise mal naturfarben. (Dafür ist der Hintergrund bunt und farbwechselnd xD)
