Neat story I just learned, if someone has methanol or ethyl glycol poisoning, the remedy is to administer medical grade ethanol

or in the event that you're in a rural and icy backwater at the moment, Smirnoff, 3 shots now, 1-2 every hour, will do the trick.

I don't know why methanol/glycol is counter acted by alcohol, but that's pretty cool.
