Everyone involved in mosquito control in the United States should know about the Spartan Mosquito Pro Tech, a plastic tube filled with water, sugar, yeast, and boric acid. Here's what the company claims:

"Kills mosquitoes that may carry West Nile Virus, Zika Virus, Dengue Fever, St. Louis encephalitis, Western equine encephalitis, and Eastern equine encephalitis for up to 30 days."

I was nervous about submitting my first Freedom of Information Act request but the crazy stuff you can get is amazing. You just have to be polite and patient. I'm now at the point where I'm so excited to receive documents I have trouble sleeping.
