I'm a #Figma noob and my assets all disappeared. It's probably something foolish I've done, but I haven't been able to figure it out yet.
I posted more detail on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/FigmaDesign/comments/16fpm62/all_assets_libraries_are_missing/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3
Children of the 80's and 90's, do you remember Garbage Pail Kids? We found a bunch of the cards and I just scanned and published them on Figma!

Let's say that Google+ did actually succeed and become a social platform to this day, what would it look like?
Well I decided to mold that into reality with this mockup. It isn't much but I liked designing it and remembering how I used it a little bit back when it was still alive 🙂

Here is my Figma for Edu workshop recording from last week.
Great if you are just getting started using Figma.

Finally got to fix up the file and publish the Slider Prototype Variations on Figma Community. Hopefully this helps someone in the future when they’re trying to figure out how to make smoother swipe-to-action prototypes on #Figma. 😁 https://www.figma.com/community/file/1277562905887280569/Slider-Prototype-Variations

Fellow #Figma using #StarTrek nerds out there on the fediverse: I redrew a bunch of different incarnations of the UFP logo and published them in a file on Figma Community. Check it out if you ever need vectors! https://www.figma.com/community/file/1274794646557807254/
#Figma has updated its Dev Mode, adding over 200 enhancements including upgrades, expanded functionalities, and user-requested features. The updates aim to improve project management, communication, and user experience.

The thing is that if you have commited to a common design system in your product team, you don't even need #Figma but #HTML stubs.
And then working WITH programmers becomes really fun, since everything evolves into a shaping process.
All you then need is a paper and pencil for sketches (or the iPad version of that).
Apply variables: https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1264259625007726988/Apply-variables
A Figma plugin to apply variables to your mockups in bulk (for example, if you have a file that doesn’t use them and want to quickly migrate it to using variables)

Using #Figma too early is really evil in the design process. You tend to stick too much on the screen design itself instead of the user flow and interactions.
In your design process, when do you start to use Figma?
