Flic Filmās ECN-2 kit seems to be the best one Iāve used so far. Previously, I bought random powders from strangers online and the results were varied :)
The prebath is really good and better than the washing soda / borax solution I previously used. I also donāt want to muck around with lye, which was the only ingredient I didnāt have from Kodakās original recipe.

I have fresh color chemicals to mix up, so Iām looking forward to it.

In August 2023, Iāve shot around 6000 frames of 35mm and 120 film; of which Iāve developed maybe half of those myself.
I roll my own film, and know how to develop black and white, C-41, and ECN-2. Iāve learned to print in a darkroom, and use every type of scanner.
Iām happy with what Iāve learned.

My wife is a home hacker / Daiso-fiend. She set up my film drying area for me with tension rods, hangers, clothespins (pegs).
I donāt have a darkroom, I use a dark changing bag to load film, then develop film over the sink. When done, I turn the shower on to steam up the shower area, then turn off; hang my film strips like this.
She made little curtains to hide my tanks and reels, as she finds them ugly š
My favorite C41 kit is the Bellinifoto. Itās very good.

Went to a union protest with a film camera. Developed three rolls in my bathroom. Will scan them tomorrow at the darkroom with a Frontier.
