For some reason that I do not know, Premiere leaves you with empty sound files from a multicam if you delete the image from that multicam. This is problematic for AAF workflows and I'm currently trying to find a workaround, wish me luck! 🤞

🎬 #TCM screens classic #SilentMovies overnight on #SilentSunday night.
Learned watching a doc about film editing—"The Cutting Edge: The Magic of Movie Editing"—most silents were cut (edited) by women. They were anonymous almost always. Film editing was considered like knitting or sewing—weaving parts together. THEN, when #Talkies came in, men took over because the craft was now seen as "scientific" and "technical"—areas of endeavor not suited to women.

As someone who is hard of hearing, intelligible speech on TV and film is a pet peeve of mine. And it’s not just on the screen, it’s also a problem on the stage, even on Broadway.
As an actor, it’s something I strive to improve at: “natural” speech that is intelligible.
